The professional South African E-sports team expanding
their brand to fashion that targets the modern South African gamer.
A collaboration with Eclipse Gaming and Init Apparel that commissioned Neroblu to design and bring to life the modern gamer clothing range that we called “The Glitched Range”. A collection of high quality and ultra-comfortable street-wear inspired clothing under the E-sports team Eclipse Gaming brand. Init Apparel provided the models and catalogue of clothing that Neroblu was tasked with designing prints for. The Eclipse Gaming team oversaw and approved the entire project that would help their brand branch out in to the fashion industry specifically targeted at South African gamers. A gamers apparel needs to be comfortable enough to spend hours of gaming in at home, while being fassionable enough to go out into the world wearing something that represents who they are and their passion for gaming.
The modern gamers representation in fashion was limited to either too sporty or too childish apparel choices. The Glitched Range followed a more casual and everyday approach. Today’s modern gamer often leaned towards street-wear apparel. So, our direction was simple: High quality, comfortable and fashionable, street-wear crossed gaming inspired apparel. While there were certain limitations to print, every project comes with it’s challenges and Neroblu was able to bring this idea to life while working within these parameters. This range embodied every-day gamer’s pride for their team and their love of games while ticking all of the boxes of being stylish, comfortable and the first of it’s kind in the world of fashion.
